www.AmerivestCares.com - Serving the community through charitable events.

Amerivest Realty’s sponsorship of the 2009 Earth Day Weekend Festival at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida was a great success. Along with the other title sponsors, Fifth Third Bank and Whole Foods the free weekend festival included: an organic farmer’s market, special exhibits, children’s carnival, educational presentations, liver entertainers and guest speakers.

Amerivest Realty sponsored the face painting tent. This turned out to be one of the most popular and busiest activates of the weekend for kids and adults. This weekend was about raising awareness of Amerivest Realty and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. This is a great way to show Amerivest cares not only about our local community but all of Southwest Florida by supporting this great organization and helping conserve the natural beauty which makes this area so desirable. The event was widely advertised in all media and after received great acclaim by local media.

About the Conservancy of Southwest Florida
The Conservancy of Southwest Florida began in 1964 when community leaders came together to defeat a proposed “Road to Nowhere” and spearheaded the acquisition and protection of Rookery Bay.
The Conservancy is a grassroots organization focused on the critical environmental issues of the Southwest Florida region. Partnering with like-minded organizations, the Conservancy works to manage growth and protect area waters, land and wildlife. The Conservancy of Southwest Florida promotes sound environmental policies and practices based on solid scientific research while providing environmental education to residents and visitors. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center treats more than 2,400 injured, sick and orphaned animals each year and releases about half back into their native habitats.
